my friend have opened 19 servers.. they are all L4D2 servers
i just help him to install plugins and refer server ipdress
these 19 servers are all confogl match servers..
LOL ~ just pills and low weapons
yesterday these 19 servers have been showed right on the steam group situation..
but em..since today moring..
i can't find my servers in L4D2 steam group situation..
but i can join the server correctly~~
and i confirm that i sumbit the IP at setti.info ，and the page returns OK

yeah,yeah,L4D2 is very popular in China，though it was not as popular as CS LOL~~
But it doesn't mean that l4d2 isn't a very nice game LOL~~

there are a few warm-hearted players post patches or Revolution patch they download from foreign forum~
people download,discuss,em..sometimes argue on the forum~
we also have many l4d2 team,after school,after wook,people get together team to team~~
=.= because of china government firewall...we can't see many foreign websit.
i know many famous team like area51 and love them,but i can't open YouTube because of the chinese fire-wall!
fortunately,some players use VPN to visit youtube download and post it at YOUKU(a chinese video websit just like Youtube）——
ninety percent l4d2 player are pirate game，because there no good ping servers for steam users,and steam has
no server made at china...there are many other reasons,em...the game is very expensive for most students even for adults,many people don't have visa to pay for it..
most chines workers' monthly salary is 1500RMB~but rent a computer for server cost them 600RMB a month..
that's why there are not many servers for players..

china may be a mysterious country in others eyes...
But do the chinese guys really feel rich or feedom？ may be..may not be..

I will read those Chinese forums. Setti masterserver is very popular in China especially in L4D2. It's good to know what Chinese think about Setti's masterserver.

There is post about http://bbs.3dmgame.c...513646-1-1.html REV's patch. You should note that REV has released new version of their patch, but it does not work with Setti. Here is the announcement http://css.setti.inf...t-now-disabled/ . Currently it's not recommended to use REV's new patch because it will make the server disappear from Setti.

Do you have other server patches than REV in China? What do you use?

Before version2045,most chinese use patch called "final",that was made by a chinese~
that patch can not list public game,few people know about public IP,most people play game on the stage just like 竞舞台(Garena)
since version2051,final's author don's releases any new patch,people turn to use Rev ,and they discover that Rev can list public server in auto,
that make them suprise~~~and more and more public sever come up,it will benefit the L4D2 development~~
You have talked about eSTEAMATiON, LOL..now 99%chinese l4d players use Rev..few people know eSTEAMATiON except some patch poster~~
we often keep a version in a long time until next DLC release~~
before 2023DLC..we keep2001
before 2045DLC em..we keep 2023
now=.= we keep the version at 2051..
The new DLC cold stream beta has released since 2063..
we planned to upgrade the L4d2 after New Dlc Cold Stream Official Version coming up~but the new REV patch don't support Setti-bot,(we don't know that until you told me yesterday)
if we upgrade,public servers especially new servers has nowhere to go ~~(since then many players don't know how to join a server by IP adress~ LOL)
so i hope that RevEmu will be right at next version..setti-bot will be ok~~~ LOL..poor english..
