Everything works on bribe in Romania. It's a way of life. You bribe the public officer to release you some documents faster, you bribe the nurse to look at you faster, you bribe the doctor for a simple operation just to be sure that all goes well, you bribe the policeman not to give you a ticket if your car insurance expired, you bribe...fuck it, you bribe everybody.

This is a text written in greek which describes that bribery was first recorded in ancient Greece.Many political figures of that time where accused for bribery. It also mentions that Parthenon and its monuments where built by taking huge amounts from public fund.
But the beauty of this story, is the comment that George Voulgarakis(former Minister for Mercantile Marine, ) made from his official facebook account: "This text says it all"
