We will have to see. My guess is that the server map will need to be reset. All plugins will have to be updated too. I think it will take a little longer for bukkit to update because it's the official release.

No one destroyed your place backis because it's protected by WorldGuard. It's this problem explained by Selena and the enderman that moves blocks from everywhere to anywhere.
And that signs is half joke for the owner of the place to maintain in good shape his structure ... after all you don't want to have a city ruined by monsters and some offline server problems.

The house up on the hill was removed by myself. It was griefed by a guy named "Slim Shady". Due to the fact that he has a space in his name, BigBrother could not rollback the changes.
It was so badly griefed, it was an eyesore. So I planted trees in their place.

Why doesn't the /sethome and /home commands work? they would be awesome to use and extremely helpful because the bed thing just doesn't work, I was all alone on the server one day and I slept till the morning, died in my cave and got teleported to spawn, doesnt make any sense...
Is there any way to fix the random world conflicts except than making a whole new map?
if that is the only option it would still be better than nothing because these world conflict things make holes on our buildings that make nice little entries for griefers, i know if it's protected they can't do anything with my house, but what if they get in my cave, which is extremely huge and just simply too big to be protected from all points? he would surely grief that, so if you guys ask me, I would completely repair this map thing, it just sucks
I go around the map and all I see are bunch of cubes next to each other, first of all, we are too close, the houses are too close, the whole map is like one GIANT block structure house thing (lol), and everything is like in one place, If the server would make a new map, lot of people would complain for all their work gone, but im sure im in the top 3 builders on the server, who laughs should take a look at my dungeon, I made every single block in that, it took me about 40 hours, which I spent in a week, but if I count the building time for my house, its like 45 (no big difference).
what I am trying to say here is that I would not care, I would start over from the beggining, I wouldn't care about my house, cave, dungeon, because there would be no annoying "block disappear" bugs...
So all this bullshit in one sentence: MAKE A COMPLETELY NEW MAP PLEASE!

One would need to create a poll. Tell all the people on the server to vote on the poll. Question is: New map or old map? With 1.9 being released soon these changes could happen. As for the beds not working... that's down to outdated plugins. New plugins can't be used at the moment as BB only works with older versions. Updated plugins will be installed on the new server, but there will be a whitelist. All players currently playing will be whitelisted. The admins will also need to lookout for the good and bad people. Without BB, a whitelist is the only thing we can do to ensure nothing is griefed.

If you want to create a poll, then please do so. The results will let us know if the map will be changed or not. Personally... I think it needs to be changed. But its up to you players as you have already built a large settlement.
