I understand that the servers have been updated? I am really bad at updates and patches.... so.. it tells me that the server is running a newer version of the game. I would really appreciate if any of u could spear me a minute and help me update my game cause I really would like to kill some of ur asses after long hours at work..

Download the CS:S release on Setti's main page. It works with the most servers. There are updates to CS:S every now and then (often every 2-3 months, before that it was about 1.5 years "stable" without updates) which you need to be downloading. All servers are generally running the latest version so you'll just need to be concerned that your own game has the latest updates. All server admins will update their servers eventually.
If client and server are different version then you can't play. Usually the error message is something like "Server is using incompatible class tables". It can mean either that the server is outdated or your game is outdated.

Yeah I know setti it's by definition nonsteam and legit setti sounds like an oxymoron but... there could be several benefits.
Many times my game was cut short and ruined by cheaters when admins were offline. Updates occur now more often and for many legit players it's a hassle to install cracked versions which may or may not work.
Anyway... just an idea for a trial run to test the waters.
