So, yeah. I got banned about a year ago for wallhacking. I wasn't really good, I wanted to be better by using cheats. After about 2 weeks I got banned on the main server, costom maps, only dust2 and no-awp. I stopped playing CSS. This was a long break. One year? Now it's 2012 and i finally remembered that there is a game like Counter-Strike Source AND i remembered that i got banned. I thought ''I couldn't get ban for a year! I'll download this game." I downloaded it, installed... ect. I joined the deathmatch to check my old "skill" and... I was playing! I could join to every server: main, costom maps... ect. The next day i tried to join DM server and saw that i'm banned. Weird huh?
Now I'm playing on Global Offensive server. I'm not cheating. I think, that im not bad player. I'm good player.

In short:
Couldyou, (admin name here) unban me? I will not cheat anymore! Unban me, please. It's important for me.
Sorry for my bad english, I wish someone understood this story. I'm not using google translate or something.

You admit you cheated - you were banned 1 year ago - you got banned permanently - you came back and asked for unban
A clue: Permanently usually means forever, not 1 year
Rules are there for a reason. If you cannot play by the rules, don't play after all.

We cant trust in ExCheater and Sorry but we dont unban "Ex" Cheater. Find another Server to play and dont cheat there. Have fun

It's stupid that players who play at Setti and still remember Setti after a year get to be treated like idiots. It's not big deal for Faworyt to play on other servers, as well as it's not big deal for Setti to allow him to once again play on our servers.

I have hard time believing that any ban on Setti would last for 1 full year . At the moment there are around 4500 bans on the main server. Sometimes the banlist gets nulled for whatever reason. Although it's possible that that hasn't actually happened for a full year.

In my view its not possible to trust him again.

That's the problem here on Setti. Full admins (some, I could name a few) Are way to lenient. You need to take a look at what Setti is about. Mainly CS:S. If people have cheated on your servers then you need to get rid of them. What you are doing now is inviting them back.

You should be ashamed of yourselves for swooping that low.

It's a bit like saying "Child rapists" "You have served your sentence, you may now go back to work at your school"

Ooooh I have a great idea. Go through that ban list of yours and unban all the accounts that are a year old.

I am member on this forum almost a year now and I don't know if my opinion is countable, but, I think that is time the fulladmins to (re)set the rules so that all the players (regulars and non) to know what "line" the admins follow. It's not cool for a forum like this with so many visitors every day, to see admins arguing about an ex-cheater. Also change the rules about bans by limited admins. Some of them don't even know when they must ban or let a player to play. Make a list with limited admins. Simple things. One year here and still don't know who is and who is not admin.
My opinion is to let this kid play again because he is banned for a long time,not for another reason.

Yes man, I can play but there are some details that make the difference. But when I have a problem online it would be good for me to know if there is an admin in the game and refer to him my problem. I guess the most are not joining specifically Setti to cheat But okay he returned 1 year later to Setti with knowledges about this faults, thats makes me proud about our community, that players want to play at our Server. In my opinion we should not unban him. A headadmin banned him for a reason, which he admit.
Saying no all the time is not hard. But if you throw a single YES out there, the vultures (aka cheaters) will come to get the things they want because you are obviously having a weak moment.
Also, since he already cheated we don't have any trust in that person again whatsoever. It's not about cheating right now, its about cheating back then.

A secret list for real-regulars and other admins - might be helpful.
There are some cases where you are and when you are not allowed to ask admins ingame

- If you want to say: Hey "adminsname", MegaCheater1337 is using wallhack

- If you like to ask him about about cheater ingame related things, simply say "(adminsname) could you be so kind and join spectator for a moment? I have some questions and I'd appreciate it if you could answer them" (I want to see that admin who says no to that polite question)

It's good when cheaters turn their cheats off. Then why is it BAD when they turn the cheats off when they see admin? The point is not to have cheaters on the server, not so much banning them and having grudge after a year.
