Apparently. Remote controlled planes with cameras have become extremely popular lately. It'd be cool to build own flying device and do stuff like that. At 1:14 in to the video you can see there is one guy with goggles on his eyes - his flying over the forest and the hilltops

You can buy your own jet with less money!

I will research for more infos about rc plane. It doesnt look like a cheap helicopter models.
I had some rc[color=#000000] cars in the past, never a flying object. And never want to buy a cheap heli shit =) looks really interesting for me

My brother is into building and flying RC Planes. He loves it... has 15 of them. Very expensive hobby but very worth it.
He always gives me his cheap planes to fly cause controlling them can be very tough. But I rather just watch him fly, just in case.

It'd be great to build autonomous plane. So that you wouldn't have to control it 100% yourself all the time. For example you could instruct the plane to fly from London to Paris. First you control the take-off in London. Then after a few minutes or so your RC would be out of reach. The plane would still have instructions to fly towards Paris. When the plane would come near Paris your French friend would then manually take down the plane.
While the plane was in air it could try to use 3G connection to send status updates about its whereabouts. It would autonomously deal with wind and weather conditions and navigating. Trying to fly the plane in real-time over laggy 3G connection would probably be too difficult. That would be cool. Then build 1000 similar planes and start smuggling drugs in cargo.
