Hi! I have an internet connection through PPPoE. I'm using CCProxy on one computer.
I want to use 3-4 PC to play CS:S online. I've just managed to play through the proxy using SocksCap and forwarding port 27015.
Can I get all 3 computers to work? Should I get a router? Somebody adviced me to use WinRoute, will it help? Thanks.
PS: Also I can't see the server list through the proxy. Can I fix that?

Actually you can use WideCap instead of SocksCap (same author, easier to use).
I was trying to spend less $$$ and NOT buy a router!
Well, the proxy/firewall with NAT didn't work so well so I got a router, after all.
The problem is I can't get the server list to work properly through the router. Servers near me appear with 1000+ latency instead of 15 http://css.setti.inf...tyle_emoticons/default/mad.gif
And my local LAN server doesn't appear at all...

Yeap... UDP and software proxies can be a difficult combination. Managing UDP connections with Linux's iptables too is more difficult than TCP connections. For casual internet users UDP and TCP are babble anyway so it might be useless to ask for advice on pub forums
At Setti we've used some UDP magic as described here: http://forums.srcds..../86327#pid86327 - it's unrelated to your post though
