Description:

Updates/Patches:
This patch will update the game from any version to version 5394425!
Patch v15/5394425 (131.2 MB):

After the installation is finished go here: "..\Counter-Strike Source"
Edit the rev.ini file with notepad, edit this line and replace the "English" with the preferred language: "Language = English"

Q.: I get error "Engine Error" "Could not load library client"
A.: Try to delete game, then reinstall.

Q.: I get error "The Instruction at 0x referenced memory at 0x The memory could not be read"
A.: Can be caused by many things, read there:

Q.: When i try to launch game, I get a message that says "hl2.exe has stopped working" & other game crashes
A.: Start the game without internet connection, click on "find servers" and then connect internet.
- Sometimes it helps if you delete the achievements! Delete those files:
"Counter Strike Source/cstrike/gamestate.txt"
"Counter Strike Source/bin/stats.bin"!
- Or your antivirus can cause game crashes, read on Steam Support:

- Make sure you installed latest patch, and installed it properly, make sure that antivirus/firewall/other programs doesn't block games/revemu connections to internet.
- Try to run the game as Administrator.

Q.: I get error: "CFileSystem_Steam::Init() failed:failed to find steam interface"
A.: Probably your antivirus deleted some game files, uninstall it and install some other antivirus like Kaspersky! Then reinstall the game.

Q.: I have graphical/visual issues
A.: Because you don't have a graphics card made for games. Sometimes the "-dxlevel 80" parameter can fix this.
You should add "-dxlevel 80" to the CS:S shortcut(left mouse click on shortcut and then go to properties), for example:
"I:Counter Strike Sourcehl2.exe" -game cstrike -console -dxlevel 80

Q.: How to change name?
A.: Use console command "setname", for example:
setname pr0gamer

Q.: How to change the little picture shown in scoreboard next to your name?
A.: The picture is the platform/avatar.dat file. It's actually a .png file, so just rename it to avatar.png, edit it with your favorite image editor and rename it back to avatar.dat. It must be 64x64 size.

Q.: I open CS:S game it opens rotated/tilted towards the left
A.: Go to Options-> Video Tab & change the resolution!

Q.: I can't change crosshair scale
A.: Players can revert to old crosshair behavior by setting cl_legacy_crosshair_scale to 1! There is game bug, when you go to options your crosshair settings resets.

Q.: I have delay on sounds, when I shoot I hear sounds later
A.: Write in console "snd_mixahead 0.1" without quotes!

Q.: I just got disconnected, it said my ping was too high.
A.: You are kicked automaticaly because your ping is too high, join low latency servers! Quit all download programs like utorrent ect.

Q.: How to uninstall the game?
A.: Just delete it!

Q.: Server list says "no internet game respond to the query"
A.: Try to refresh. Or press on "Internet" tab, press "Quit" game, start game again & now it should work. Or try to disable your antivirus & firewall!
Make sure you installed latest patch, and installed it properly, make sure that antivirus/firewall/other programs doesn't block games/revemu connections to internet. If you still don't get serverlist then you did something wrong & or it is revemu bug, then wait for new patch.

Q.: Is it possible to add clan tag?
A.: You can have clan tag, edit rev.ini with Notepad and change "ClanTag=[Setti]" to "ClanTag=Your_tag", then go to options>multiplayer>advanced and select clan tag there.!

Q.: I get "steam beta must be running..." or "#GameUI_ServerRequireSteam" error.
A.: Probably you saved rev.ini into non-ANSI format. Open it with Notepad, press Files>save as..., select Encoding ANSI then press save. Or you copied some broken files to your game, then you need to reinstall game.
Or your antivirus is blocking/deleted some game files, try disable/uninstall it, then reinstall game.

Q.: After I change rev.ini and save, it says access denied.
A.: Extract game to folder like "D:Games". Or read there - http://answers.micro...9e-8c9906d8f242

Q.: I get error "ConVarRef sb_dontshow_maxplayer_warning doesn't point to an existing ConVar"
A.: This is not an error, just ignore it!

Q.: Everytime I start the game the text of the menu doesn't show up.
A.: Make sure Steam is not running. Open the task manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc), click on the "Processes" tab, click the "Show processes of all users" button, try to find the process of Steam and kill it.

If that don't work:

Right click on the desktop shortcut of the game. You will see the startup command line highlighted with blue. Go to the end of the line, let a space and add this: -w 800 -h 600
Click the "Apply" and "OK" buttons and run your CSS client.

Hey friends.

I have decided to give up my Admin Activities at Setti, after some little disagreements and disappointments. (Not important what about

)

I have seen a lot of good players here. I have started here to play Css, damn I have learned to play Css on Setti :thumbup:

thats why Setti was always the best for me, even when I had some troubles in the past

So I thank you all for the good times, your trust and all kind of backings.
and not to forget: My Special thanks to all my Old Setti friends and my Admin Comrades.

Sorry If I have made sometimes wrong decisions about some of you. I hope I were a good Admin for you all

So guys have a lot of fun in that game. Try always to be fair and respectful to each other and Im sure you will have a lot of fun :thumbsup:

Maybe I will join the game again in the future. And I will Check sometimes the forums (for old times sake) :smile-thumbs-up:

Guys i though it would be a good idea if you share your artworks whith us. Besides counter strike you can show, here in setti, your abilities to do other things.
So we can discover some hidden genius.
It can be: intros, speedart, montages, wallpapers, music...and muuch more (made by you only).
I'm starting by showing you some works i made. Watch them in 720p

Setti became 7 years old on 2012-03-31

Everything started from a one CS:S server. Then became another server. Now there are 6 CS:S servers and 1 Minecraft server. From the beginning Setti has also hosted a serverlist.

In 2008 the website got a facelift. Here's a snapshot of Setti website early 2008.

Reading the age old forum posts little seems to have changed :-)

. Players are still worried about cheaters. Server admins are worried about how to get players to their servers.

It is funny that the first ideas of Setti's existence are still archived in chat logs. The idea of Setti was born on 2005-03-31 01:35:53.

Glory and me are happy to announce the Setti Halloween Special of 2012!
We found some really scary maps and made an map package for you (Download). Copy it into your CS:S directory where the hl2.exe file is located and execute it, so you don't have to wait for the maps to download!

The map package also contains the updated menu with the No-AWP server!
