How to use Towny Advanced on new Setti world and become a miniadmin in your own town.
[color=#b22222]Don't try to start a town if you are not ready for the challenge! Joining someone else's town may provide you with great benefits.
To start a Town you must have $5000 and for every plot claimed another $100 and be Advanced player on Setti.
If you are a n00b, for sure you [color=#b22222]MUST start in Old world (called "the kindergarten") where is free build (your construction can be protected there by admin/OP) and start to build, make money, have fun and don't ask how to become Advanced ... you will be at the right moment.

Command list:

/town = Gives information on your own town
/town list = Simply lists all towns
/nation list = Lists all nations
/towny top land = Ranks the towns with most land
/towny top residents town = Ranks the towns with most members
/towny top residents nation = Ranks the nations with most members
/town [name] = Gives information on a certain town
/nation [name] = Gives information on a certain nation
/resident [username] = Gives Town information on a person

/town deposit [amount] = Contribute money to the town bank
/town leave = Leaves the town

If your Mayor has put Plots up for sale (ask him about it):
/plot claim = Claim a plot in the town
/plot unclaim = Unclaim a plot
/resident set perm resident build on/off = Allows/prevents other town members from building in your plot
/resident set perm resident destroy on/off = Allows/prevents other town members from destroying in your plot

CHAT:
Use /tc and type a message for Town Chat, unseeable by players other than your town members

//chunk (2 slashes!) = Checks what Chunk you're on
/town new [name of town] = Creates a town
/town delete [name of town] = Deletes your town

/town add [username] = Invites a member to your town (must be online)
/town kick+ [username] = Kicks an offline member from your town
/town assistant add+ [username] = Makes a member an assistant

/town deposit [amount] = Deposits money into the bank
/town withdraw [amount] = Withdraws money

/town claim = Claims the current chunk you're standing on to your town
/town unclaim = Unclaim the current chunk



Command list:

..~*(PROTECTING A TOWN)*~..
All of these commands will begin with "/town set perm"

outsider off = Prevents outsiders from building/destroy
outsider on = Allows outsiders to build/destroy
ally on/off = Allows/Prevents ally
resident on/off = Allows/Prevents residents

Add 'build' or 'destroy' between any of the words and 'on/off' if you want to only allow/prevent building or destroying. For example, '/town set perm ally destroy off' will prevent Allies from destroying, but they can still build. Meanwhile, 'town set perm ally off' will prevent them from doing either.

RECOMMENDATION:
Protection commands are slightly complex. If you don't want to think, just do '/town set perm outsider off' and '/town set perm ally destroy off' and leave it. This will prevent outsiders from building/destroy and prevent allies from destroying, the most common protection for towns.

/town set pvp off = Prevents all PVP
/town set pvp on = Allows all PVP

..~*(HIDING TOWN LOCATION)*~..
/town set public on/off = Displays/hides town homeblock on town profile page



..~*(SETTING SPAWN)*~..
/town set homeblock = Changes the home chunk to the current chunk you're in
/town set spawn = Sets town spawn at your location (you must be in the home chunk)

..~*(SET BOARD/MOTTO)*~..
/town set board [message] = Sets the motto/greeting message for the town

..~*(TAXES/PLOTS)*~..
/town set taxes [amount] = Tax collected from your residents every 24 hours
/town set plotprice [amount] = Sets sale price for all plots in
/town set plottax [amount] = Sets daily tax for owning a plot
/plot forsale = Puts the current chunk you're standing on for sale to your residents
/plot notforsale = Takes the current chunk off of sale
/plot claim = Resident buys the plot that is for sale
/plot unclaim = Resident unclaims the current plot

Default chat has been replaced by [color=#0000cd]Towny Chat and all players can use these commands to switch between chats:

[color=#b22222]/g - General chat.
[color=#b22222]/lc - Local chat 100 block radius.
[color=#b22222]/tc - Town chat.
[color=#b22222]/nt - Nation chat.

[color=#b22222]/msg and [color=#b22222]/mail commands are still available.

Using the Maps

The map in towny displays the grid system of plots. The map can be viewed once using [color=#b22222]/towny map one time or you can set the map to show every time you move from one block to another:

• Use [color=#b22222]/resident set mode map to turn it on.
  
• And use [color=#b22222]/resident set mode reset to turn it off.

A large version of the map can be seen using[color=#b22222] /towny map big.
