Hey guys,
I keep getting this "This server requires you to be running Steam." error, and I'm on 1.0.9.1
Anyone else getting this error? And, is there a fix for it?

Install Steam and patch it. If that's not possible then you can't play on those servers. Try to find servers that don't require Steam identification. You can find Steam patches at http://cs.rin.ru/forum.
Technically it's possible to have standalone release and have Steam identification but it's impossible to instruct you through it here. You can try to find servers that don't require Steam to be installed.
If you think you are experienced user enough you can try to find how to copy Steam credentials from ClientRegistry.blob to your standalone game.
Uhhuh... I noticed that you posted at Setti board - are you sure you are connecting to ent.setti.info servers?

You need to register if you want to edit posts I think.
For TF2 you need to download updates from cs.rin.ru content sharing board. You need to register at cs.rin.ru for that too. There are lots of updates coming for TF2 every week so it might be easier to just buy the game instead of waiting and downloading each update from cs.rin.ru.
