I will never say Windows will be better for game servers. (Linux will allways be number 1 in there)

But,... When u want set up a server enviroment for a company where u will have to support up to 5000+ users, u will be using a Microsoft server, not Linux.
Dont try to say it is not true, its the diference between Linux and Microsoft.

i think the guys that host our service though our community was not worth it since all we do is play on dust2 24/7, so they shut us down forever

They told us: If you start to join Setti Main again, we will give you your server back!

This I find difficult to understand as myself, and a regular community of players only play Pub 2. Just how many players are needed to restart the servers? Furthermore, why was a warning not given? Finally is this really the reason or is it because of some kid blitzing the servers?
For those in the know, please enlighten the rest of us.

He is not Attacking for 2 Weeks he attacked 2-3 days and than the provider will disconnect the server from internet to save other servers in the Datacenter, when the server is back he can attack 2-3 days and than the same again!

It doesn't really matter how exactly he schedule his attacks. All that matters is 5 Setti CS:S + 2 CS:GO + 2 dotox CS:S servers are down.

An elite hacker would bother to do this... So, you want to tell me that you are at that script kiddie's mercy and you are incapable, you or the host service company to do something to stop this attack?

Just like the admins managed to stop the other guy who was DDoS'ing the servers some months ago, I think they could have done something similar again. They could even report it to some cyber crime agency.
