A quick question guys, I juts registered on Game Tracker and installed game tracker lite. Now how do I connect on no steam game servers? The lite application requires steam.exe but i have installed setti's game that has hl2.exe not steam.exe

 

kinda new in this area, so sorry if i sound like a complete novice.

About the game tracker, you have to wait for a reply of heady. I haven't any experience in this.

I don't think that Gametracker Lite is for server owners. I never used it. It's probably for players to join their servers or so. Forget about it

hey wait wait.. actually I wanted to play a game on someone's server which is listed on gametracker.com

 

when i entered the ip and port it says gametracker lite required. I installed it and now it is aking for steam.exe

does that mean i cant play on these servers (even no-steam) using the setti build of CSS?

 

BTW . the server will be ready in 3 days..

Hi, I need to add one bot to each team, in case there are very few users. Since the server is new and i have just started to tell all my friends about it. May be for first few weeks one or two bots would be a good idea. 

 

Tried those commands Bot_Add etc etc but nothing works.

something like this in server.cfg

 

bot_quota_mode fill

bot_quota 2

 

This should add 1 bot to each team. If you want 2 bots for each team write bot_quota 4.

Open your server.cfg file and add a new line at the very bottom and add this:

bot_add

bot_quota 2 //Amount of bots to add. Adding many bots will use more cpu. Start with a few bots, then add more if needed.

bot_quota_mode fill // It can be normal or fill. If fill, the server will adjust bots to keep # players in the game, where # is bot_quota (from above)

bot_difficulty 0 //Skill of bots. (0 = Easy, 1 = Normal, 2 = Hard, 3 = Expert.)

bot_chatter off //Control how bots talk. (off, radio, minimal, normal)

bot_auto_follow 1 //Allow bots to automatically follow a human player.

bot_auto_vacate 1 //Kick bots to automatically make room for human players.

bot_join_after_player 0 //Bots must wait for a people to join before joining? If No, bots will play without people.

bot_defer_to_human 1 //Set whether you want bots be able to complete objectives if there are humans on a team.

bot_allow_rogues 0 //bots may occasionally go 'rogue'. Rogue bots do not obey radio commands, nor pursue scenario goals.

bot_walk 0 //The speed at which bots can move.

bot_join_team any //Set what teams bots are allowed to join.

bot_eco_limit 2000 //Bots will not buy if their money falls below this amount.

bot_all_weapons //Bot Mode. If you change this, the below weapon restrictions are ignored. (bot_all_weapons, bot_knives_only, bot_pistols_only, bot_snipers_only)

bot_allow_grenades 1

bot_allow_sub_machine_guns 1

bot_allow_shotguns 1
