Has anyone with steam tried to join yet?

yes tried it with steam yesterday. The updated server (pub 2) worked finde for me. But now pub 2 seems to be offline.
Setti 1,3,4 DM and GG are still old version so stay on old version until they are updated

I can't understand,the server where i play says that has update the game.And when i try to enter with latest patch,
appears the problem with steam validation...

patch v37 doesn't work properly. name can't be change, and servers not responding

Everything was fine with v36, now I installed v37 and it crashes after a few seconds of loading. Tried reading FAQ, steam FAQ, updating drivers, deleting achievements, changing compatibility mode, running as admin, restarting pc. Nothing helped.
Im on win7 64bit
Any help, please?

worst of all it cant find me half of the servers i want to go join... and when i try to connect it says failed to connect... maybe im gonna waste my money on steam version...

I have figured out that there are many problems of people having problems such as "STEAM validation Rejected" Don't worry soon the server admin will add a no-steam patch. i for 1 own 4 servers and 2 broke after the update while also i cant even get onto my own server, I am searching for a no-steam patch for the servers. if you know one that works just post it here and also send the link to the server owner and he will probably fix the error!
as for the update you will have to uninstall your CSS and download the patch from 0-36 inorder for you to play on servers. But BEWARE: Some Servers have not yet updated and some did so download the patch that suits you the best. Also Always read the FAQ's Since they will help you! Also for the new patch 37 some settings are messed up in the patch but u will have to live with it until the a new patch comes out (Not trying to be mean).

nah those were nonsteam issues only. The game is running fine on my Steam setup.

And when i write in the console of the game "version":

I'm using this Non-Steam CSS v37, and its working properly !
Yes I'm serious ! It's working properly, it just depends on the server you play on it .
I played for 3 hours on the same clan's servers ( a Russian one ) no crash or any other sh*t.
I tried to join another clan's server ( French ), it was crashing after 10 seconds of playing !
In a nutshell, the troubles come from the servers not from the update, so don't blame I Love B00bz, who i would like to thank for his work, because he is not responsible of all those troubles !

well steam realesed again a new update so u just can play on pub2 as far as i know because thats the only one server from which i know thats after the first new update for non-steam.
