LOL same here. Can't run the game today. Is this some kind of a timed event ?

I then went and downloaded that old Steamclient.dll file that some people were having problems with days ago and it seems to have helped. I never had any crashes until today with the new Steamclient.dll though. No idea why the file works longer for some people. Anyway, here's the link: http://css.setti.inf...l-files-backup/

I have same problem after v 48 update(yestrday i play normal with v48)
I cannot play longtime(some time at start game)
I get errors "The Instruction at 0x referenced memory at 0x The memory could not be read" or
"hl2.exe has stopped working"

The problem of all those crashes is in the latest rev emu crack. When you start up CS:S rev emu is trying to connect to the server at address "bir3yka.narod2.ru" and in case that connection to that server fail ( blocked through firewall, hosts file or that server is down like happened today ) you receive hl2.exe crash.

The question is why the hell bir3yk needs our computers to be connected to the server at that address, another question is why the hell is my ping 20ms - 25ms higher compared to any random server located in Holland or UK while playing and one question more, why the hell is that server address in steamclient.dll highly encrypted???

the days before, CSS run ok. then the new update ".[Setti].Patch.v47(Cumulative)" is installed. CSS run ok, with CS:GO maps run ok. today i open the game, after 50 seconds crash it. i see the text :

Strange no crashes for me with with v48 and serverbrowser works ok.

Today there were revemu update to fix craches and it worked for few hours ok but now it is crashing for everyone and developer left for holidays .

So if anyone has crashes with v48 then you can try to download older steamclient.dll , copy it to bin folder "\Counter Strike Source 2010\bin\". Btw serverbrowser will not work with it.
