Why every servers says "Server is not responding" an i think i already have a firewall exception. I have taked a screen shot to u see.

Sorry but i'm portuguese and its on portuguese. I'm using windows vista and my antivirus is Avira AntiVir Personal-Free Antivirus. Maybe it is blocking the game.
BUT PLEASE HELP ME !!!!!!!!!!


Try to use command " connect ip:port " in your console.


i tried what u said and, when i lick submit it starts loading and then appears this errors on console:
Host_Error: Unexepected authentication protocol 303455153!

Well, i have a problem. I installed the game and the v49 patch and in-game i can't find any serwers. I used MasterServers.vdf from setti and it still doesn't work . I don't know what to do ;/ I tried it many diffent ways, always fail. If you can please help me :)

hi , i'm new with this & i really like to have an answer on my question
well , i downloaded the torrent , runned the 'installator'
then after 60% every time i got this message :

hey guys ,
i thaught i finally could play css , but then i realised a new problem ..
every single time i try to open a server to play a game
it says , server is not responding ..
i readed the problem of JohnKrazy , and i think it is the same ,
but where do i have to download the latest patch ? and what (in steps) should i do with it ?

I´ve downloaded the patch 49, but it still gives me the error that said something protocol, the warning that says "update your game" according to b00bs

I downloaded the patch & runned it , and replaced the files of the patch with those standard files .
Then when i run the game , i got an error , says : can't find background image materials/console/startup_loading.vtf
did i did something wrong ? or do someone has an solution for this ??

Don't replace the files manually. Just browse the patch in your counter strike source 2010 folder.

I Downloaded CSS per torrent ....

Exracted it and Game works.... Put if i Instalol the Patch v49 then it will crash...

Don't replace the files manually. Just browse the patch in your counter strike source 2010 folder.

And appeared a message saying that windows make it not work because it can make damage on computer. It's called Dep (Data execution prevention) is this patch really safe?

Be sure that you have css no-steam boobs-version (first page). Then download cumulative patch... Close your antivirous. Run the patch and browse it in your counter strike source 2010 folder.
So that your have to do now is to re-install the game. After that follow my step above
