The server I used to play in all the time, (wL)Popular Maps :: WAR-LORDS.net just recently updated their version of the game, cant play there until Update, plzz update

I have a dedicated server using these files.

Players are getting kicked because of steam authentication failure. Any ideas?

dedicated server version
PatchVersion=1.0.0.71
ProductName=cstrike
appID=240

non steam version players

PatchVersion=1.0.0.70
ProductName=cstrike
appID=240

Santiago's advice helps me a bit (can now connect to just more than setti's servers from the main screen) but theres still a lot of servers I cant connect to (different errors like banned or steam validation reqd).

For those of you who are a tad confused with Santiago's advice. If you are runnin Windows 7 you have to open Notepad as administrator (Start and type notepad in search box, right click on result, run as administrator). Once launched, File, Open and browse to your CS install directory and go to the cstrike folder, change file type to all files at the bottom of the browse window and open the steam.inf file. Make the modification on the first line to .71, save it and relaunch CS. Should allow you to connect to a few more servers in the list - did for me....

Nah thats not it, the steam.ini file says 1.0.0.70 in the server as well.

hey I cant play anymore, it always tells me that the server is running on a newer version of the game, where can I download the latest version then??? help

I get the problem saying ''Failed to create D3D device''. I've tried the dxlevel and -h -w and -windowed but nothing works.
