Please give me the link to the latest CSS and please give me a small link cuz 1 gb is so big and everytime i have to update i have to download 1 gb , its a mess.

 

Please give me the link ASAP cuz I can't play the game , "Server not Responding" error.

 

And will it fix the problem?

"Server not responding." = firewall issue.

Make an exception of the "hl2.exe" file on your firewall, or even disable it.

kostas are you still using the old release? I ask that because on the new release, the background images are inside ".vpk" files.

Okay anybody who can help me with voice chat. I have a problem. When someone is speaking ingame I can't hear him everything I see that his voice label is flashing on my screen with no voice. I used the command voice_enable 1 and I checked all audio system settings, please help me I'll be greatful

Please help me. While im installing the game. The installer said "Can not extract steam.dll" and the setup was aborted.

I just checked it and i downloaded it normally.

Well i downloaded it followed the instructions and then i try to run the shortcut from the desktop as administrator and the i get the error that hl2.exe can not be found in the Windows/system32 directory.I copied hl2.exe there and tried again. Then i took the following error: Failed to load the launcher DLL: The specified module could not be found.
Thats where i ran out of ideas. Any hel

 

This worked out for me. 
before starting the game, disable your internet connection. then click on the game and start it. after the menu of the game loads, enable your internet. now it shall work.

i thought i downloaded new version all at once from this link http://kat.ph/counte...i-t7339989.html and it still says the server is running in new version. and in patch link there are 11 diffrent parts do i have to download them all to upgrade?

It's not patch.

You can download the new release via torrent or via one-click-hoster (the 11 parts).

hy i have problem i download all parts from zipshare but when i with rar extract files i got error mesage for No8 file something like unknow format or canot read file plesae help did i make some problem or that file have error thx

Compare the MD5 hashes to see what's wrong.

All is working! Great job. It is very fast!

It is important that you have "C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2008 - 2012" to play the game. I have the newest version. You need that for many games.
