I have a problem in the updates i tried it all .
I even start installation from scratch but i cannot update the game .
This is the situation...

Situation is - "Problem is not in patch, but in what you are patching."

I have a problem in the updates i tried it all .
I even start installation from scratch but i cannot update the game .
This is the situation :

I have windows 7 32 bit everything worked fine till update 27 : CSSource.2010.OB.NoSteam.[Setti].Patch.v27[26.to.27]
But after this one i cant update no more i tried the next update : CSSource.2010.OB.NoSteam.[Setti].Patch.v28[27.to.28] and it says "software not found" so i tried a new installation form clean download and tried to update this path : CSSource.2010.OB.NoSteam.[Setti].Patch.v30[0.to.30] and still "software not found" !!!

So as last resort i started to install the patch maualy 1 by 1 till i got update V27 it went well and the next one Update V28 says "software not found" .
I dont know what to do any more how can it be ? that everything its ok till 27 and 28 says "software not found" ???

Please Help me with this problem

u must have done something wrong u probably skipped a patch or something.
i tried the newest patch and it said software not found but that was because there were like 3 other patches in between that i didnt install because servers still worked without them

I did install all the patch as i say till patch 27 everything ok but next i run the 28 patch then it says software not found .

Now i did it from the begining :

1.New download from the link .
2.after start from first patch until i got to 28
3.in the 28 it says : software not found .

Now does anyone know what could be the problem ?

Did you deleted your CS:S, before new extraction?

I changed the name of the folder to old

And then i extracted the new to other drive .

Hi it`s a stupid question but i cant`t find hl2.exe in counter strike 2010 folder.I must install the patch there.So if u can tell me plese

nd you must edit rev.ini for dedicated server to work properly, leave everything at default and change only "#ClientDLL=" to "ClientDLL=" , then you will see server in "LAN" tab and will be able


Where is that anyway in the srcds folder or the css folder and i cant add my ip 192.168.0.197 can you add it for me

I changed the name of the folder to old

And then i extracted the new to other drive .

go and delete css. after that install it again and put the :

This Update link is for those who just extracted game:
Patch_v30[0.to.30](1.0.0.59)

into your css folder and install it. it works 100%.

i downloaded and patched perfectly but when i launch the game it closes immediately after

hello there i have a little probleme with these release in maps like dust 2 de_dust the walls and ground get in some zone very bright i tried with in game brightness adjuster but still the same problem i play with a 17 inch monitor samsung 1280x1024 res contrast 60 and brightness 42 nvidia video card dx9 latest drivers same problem even with hdr off please help

i tried to patch the game form 29 to 30 but it said that it cant rename some file. i ran it as an admin 2nd time and it did not work. said it couldnt find hl2.exe. i tried reinstalling it, same. help please!

I always get the "Server is not responding" message. It doesn't matter what MAP it is. I've tried every single one out of the 300 server I have.

It should Say

Version: "whatever"

when you open up the console. If it doesnt show that for some reason, i think you have to type "version" (without quotes) into the console and it will tell you. By the way, you have to download each consecutive patch, such as 16-17, 17-18, 18-19 and so on. You can just download the 0-30 patch

Yeah, downloaded and installed successfully the lastest patch (number 30) from this very same page.
I just don't know what else to do...

Can you connect to Setti servers? Try to disable firewall.

I'm downloading this specifically so I can view the CSS weapon models in Garrys mod. Will that work? (Garrys mod is installed via Steam :/ )

It basically takes the source files from every other "source" game (lol) and loads them into Garrys mod.... It's hard to explain, but... Yeah :/
