problem resolved but, when I try to join a server, the game crashes...always
it says: hl2 has stopped working -.-
I've windows vista
is it a problem??

disable antivirus, close all background programs. What is your video card?


it doesn't work

@b00bs: I have a SiS Mirage Graphics 3 248 mb


this card is not for 3D games, buy new proper video card for games something with Ati/Amd or Nvidia chipsets.

But First Great Job Thank you Very Much
So to my Question I Downloaded it i Put the Patches in the Counter Strike Folder where hl2.exe is too
But at the Patches there stands put the patch in the hl2.exe folder ive put it there Pleas Help me.

Problem is not in patch, but in what you are patching, only you know what you are trying to patch...

how to update?

sorry but my i-net connection is too slow to download it fast again and the packed file is just deleted ;-(

is there no way for an "all versions to XXX" update-patch?

The best solution is to re-install (extract to a new folder and apply the patches again)
And like b00bs said, disable antivirus...

(worked with me, [i had the same problem])

Low graphic but try this:once you have installed the game and applyed the patches run css as administrator

when im extracting the .exe unpacker -- i get a error at 18% in, cannot find consoledata.vtf

i re-checked the tor, and all seems fine. its the same tor as the thread title. any help would be grea,t hx.

who will have the courage to create a tutorial.criar a server in cs source steam with this orange box.pois so far this deficel.nao find a proper tutorial.

is there any known issues with this package and high ping?

im playing on a server that is about 40 ping from me technically, but when i play im getting 80 - 240 ping.

my internet is good :\
