Why dproto subserver ,will banned? My server is 82.135.231.96 ,he has just a subserver i dont known please sorry ;[ my dproto subserver ip is 82.135.231.96:28015 ,so please jus remove this...

Isn't that dproto's subserver? The other server is gameversion "47" and the other is "1.1.2.6/Stdio". Players with both 47 and 48 (which is also the same as "1.1.2.6/Stdio" or whatever else "x.y.z.ö/Stdio") can join the server via correct server instance. It's cool.

Update:
You can register also the subserver to Setti. Isn't that required for the subserver to work. That's my understanding. How would it help otherwise.

Note that this doesn't mean you can register 20 subservers or give your subserver a fake name to boost the popularity.

This is dproto subserver.

Subserver is for visibility on old CS clients. This is not affect connect proccess to server.

One question to you:
What for, except improve online with fake server, admins can register subserver in setti?

I may undestand - not ban ip`s, because the most part of admins dont know, that dproto subserver will not help their server visibility in setti.

But i think that we mustn`t encourage and advice to register dproto subserver in Setti

Name of dproto subserver (but remember, that hackers may create special plugin, which will create fake server, with options like dproto subserver) can not be changed after dproto version 0.8.68.

Isn't the subserver "another" server on different port. Then when players with old client try to join the wrong server, they get error message. Then they can join the subserver in the other port, but they end up on the same server. That's why it should be visible on Setti list too.

Isn't it also that the subserver isn't required for 47/48 compatibility. There's another option for plain 47/48 compatibility. What for are subservers then?

It's good that new dproto version has locked the name. It's then clearer that the two servers are actually the same.

I'm not sure about you, but if I'm looking at list of 5000 servers and I see two servers with same name, I'm pretty confident that they actually are the same server. So what's the problem that there are couple servers twice for backwards compatibility? Do you think players are retarded? Or why wouldn't they like subservers that actually make their gaming experience easier. Why would Setti remove servers that offer backwards compatibility?

All this IP's are from my country (Romania) ... however some of them are dinamic IP's, so i'm guessing this IP's are often used to host redirect servers (fake's) because they are home users and even if you'll ban them probably tomorow will be back with another IP
the IP range i'm talking about is
79.112.0.0 - 79.119.255.255 or CIDR 79.112.0.0/13

P.S. if the servers are offline probably the hoster shut them down for now or he has turn off the PC

All of them banned. Especially big fish 79.114.x.x addresses are now blocked for good. There weren't any real servers from there. The couple left on the list will disappear in few hours.

This is major breakthrough in cleaning the server list. Especially Romanians will see the list much cleaner now because lots of fake Romanian servers got removed. Good work!
