Unfortunately support for Italy has been discontinued for now. Support will be activated when it becomes possible to support it permanently. Currently it is not possible. If you have credit card you should be able to use Paypal boost.

Service is working in Germany.

Setti only receives successfully sent messages. There is always a response to received SMS messages. If you don't receive response then the message didn't reach Setti. Contact your mobile phone operator or Fortumo if you think there has been an error.

i've boosted my 96.254.179.168:27015 server but it still does not show up in the setti server list, and it does not show up in this page: http://css.setti.info/servers/dods/ even if i manually type the ip address and server name

i used paypal, sms is not available in usa. and it said it was successful and i got a receipt, and i saw it show up in the boost server list but not in-game at all or on the dods server list.on the website and of course now its no longer on the boost list at all. nobody has attempted to join except steam players for the past 48 hours. so screw it, i'm not hosting nonsteam anymore if my server will never show up in your list. what a waste of $3

The boost effect is most seen on CS1.6 servers because there are the most CS1.6 players. For other game types boost still technically works the same way but the effect might not be so clearly seen. Reason is that boost does not magically create players for your server - it is promotion. Promotion done for "empty crowds" wouldn't bring players on any server. This is explained at the boost page.

You can add your server on the normal server list at http://css.setti.info/#addserver. DoD players will most likely find your server even though your server wouldn't be on the boost list.

the problem is, my server does not EVER show on the setti server list. EVER EVER. no matter how many times i click refresh it's never there. i nEVER ever get a single non steam client attempting to connect. for 3 days, not one single non steam player has attempted to connect. it works just fine for steam players. also, the setti server add feature hasn't worked for months because setti never updates to the latest patch. it just gives an error that the server uses a newer protocol


edit: steam jsut released another srcds server update so now i have to update and recrack everything again. and i crack my servers manually using ollydbg. none of the crack tools out there are simple to use.



also, i got rid of that new protocol error, and i'm finding nonsteam players attempting to connect every once in a while but they can't ever join because none of them ever update to the newest patches by valve, which is 1.0.0.36

If the scanner bot is allowed then it is likely that all players are allowed as well. When casual players can join servers without care in the world = alles ist gut.

If you think your patch is good enough or "proper" so to say you can send PM to Ghost and discuss about details. It is possible to update server scanner. Server scanner is kept updated whenever new incompatible patches are released to SRCDS.

it's rare i get compliments from things like that, thank you the only thing is mine doesn't create steam ids for nonsteam players, everyone shows up as steam_0:0:0, but if doing it myself is easier than reading 500 lines of poorly translated stuff that "might" not work for the latest version, then so be it mine simply consists of a modified engine.dll and a modified steam_api.dll.

and yes, all was good a few months ago as my server was full 24/7 with players (the majority being russians) for the longest time. was the june 6th path i believe, server went deserted, but about a month later all nonsteam players came back since they updated. it lasted that way for a good 3 months, then valve put out another update that made nonsteam players unable to connect even though the version number stayed the same. this lasted a good month or so and then they finally changed the version number. but ever since then i haven't gotten anyone to join


also, that link you gave me is quite weird. that active process registry thing can be fixed by simply renaming ActiveProcesses to something else in the steam_api.dll, then you dont need anything extra

Take a photo of your mailbox, street sign or something to prove that you are who you claim to be. It's good if you can hold a paper with text "setti" in it to prove that you have taken the picture yourself.

Your IP address is geo-located to Ukraine. It's possible that you can't write English properly even though you are living in California. It's equally possible that you are using Ukrainian home connection proxy to surf the internet. And it's also possible that you are just right now visiting your home country Ukraine. In the case that you are visiting your home country you can take a photo of your ID card, drivers license, library card or similar to prove your identity. I'm sure this won't be a problem for you, Thomas. Maybe you know Dylan, he lives in the states too.

Send me PM if you still have trouble with your server patch being accepted by Setti server scanner. It is also strange how little patched servers there are in USA. For the same reason there are very little players from NA.
