Hi Guys, Few days back i was facing a common problem in windows 7 where in i was not able to connect to internet.A new unnamed network shows up along with my wireless network and i dont get internet connection.To solve this i had to uninstall the wireless card via device manager and when rebooted it went away.I am able to connect to internet now !! but i see that i am not able to connect to any network in CSS source favorites..i.e the setti servers.I get the below error in console windows.Could you please let me know whats the solution ?

Not playing a local game.
Network: IP 192.168.1.50, mode MP, dedicated No, ports 27015 SV / 27005 CL
Connecting to 78.46.42.232:27016...

Host_Error: Unexepected authentication protocol 88910055!

probably try getting the new patch, it messed up my textures and graphics, but i dont think it will do that for everyone

I have the same probleme when i try to connect a lot of server...
I have windows 7 and last patch v21 of css orange box so don't understand !!!

please help !

I had the same problem today and mine is updated because i tried to update again but it said that my game is current.

i am having this same error. i cant connect to any of the servers. anybody know why this is happening. it just started today

Problem solved !!!!

I update css with patch v22 and no more problem !
find it at the first page of topic "Counter Strike Source 2010 Orange Box NoSteam"
