No LCD will beat CRT's performances nor will have better picture quality.
Input lag for CRT's is 0 or somewhere near 0 when LCD's have at least 5ms, and the bigger they are the slower they are.
Contrast - again CRT wins.
Each have pros and cons but consumer decides for himself anyway.

I haven't got my screens to work in clone mode, so I can't test mine.
Also I've got 2 lcd monitors, so the result would just show the difference between
their input lags, not the amount of input lag.
