Hello everyone,
I've just installed DOD:S 1.0.0.25 Build 4357 [NON STEAM] including RevEmu 9.8.3 and I'm unable to find servers.
Downloaded it from here:
http://www.dod.lv/do...ds.php?cat_id=8

This is my Rev.ini file

"SteamMatchMakingServers"=revSrvBrowser.dll

CacheEnabled = False
CachePath = D:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps

SteamDll=.\bin\Steam\Steam.dll
SteamClient = True
SteamUser = DOD.LV
ForceRevClient = False

PlayerName = DOD.LV

The installation came with the MasterServer.vdf and ServerBrowser.vdf on the folder "Day of Defeat Source\config".
The application CAN connect to the servers manually, but it's nicer to have the games listed and being able to filter those according to my preferences.
Please help me.
Thanks.

Actually I'm only able to see this server
Argentina 201.212.2.166:27025 .SurGamers.com [DoD:S] [PUB][HLSTATSX] 0 / 24 dod_anzio 1.0.0.25
I live in Argentina, and I'm pretty close to the server since my ping is 39ms using a 3mbps connection.
For some reason only shows the only local game available, and I'm not applying any filters or whatsoever.
"ServerBrowser.sfv"

The lines for "dod" have been added by me after reading an advise from the hundreds of sites I've visited in order to find a solution for this problem. Somehow it's now reading from those files, since the dod.lv servers don't appear.
I've put them on
C:\Program Files (x86)\Day of Defeat Source\config
C:\Program Files (x86)\Day of Defeat Source\bin\Steam\config
At least I get ONE servers, there are thousands of people who can't make it work at all.
I think the rev.ini file can point to those files, but I'm not familiar with the command line.
Anybody got a clue?
Thanks.

Good thinking. However there might be a problem with having "hl2" and "dod" on the same ip:port configuration. Some years back it was possible to have same masterserver ip:port configuration in masterservers.vdf (note how it is written: masterservers.vdf). Then it changed in one of the updates so same ip:port cannot be used for different game types.The lines for "dod" have been added by me after reading an advise from the hundreds of sites I've visited in order to find a solution for this problem. Somehow it's now reading from those files, since the dod.lv servers don't appear.
So try to remove "hl2" or "dod" block from the masterservers.vdf.
Also rEV emulator is said to break something in serverbrowser. If it's possible try to test it without rEV emu.
Serverlist is also possible to get via Favorites tab. Find "favorites list" on this page: http://css.setti.inf...i-server-lists/
HLSW+Setti can also be useful for some people: http://css.setti.inf...ti-server-list/
Post solution for DoD if you find a working solution. It's good to have instructions on some forums so people don't need to ask the same questions over and over again.
