My version doesnt match the server

hi, its a non steam but it says I dont have the version
what can I do?

It's either your game or or your server which is outdated. You need to update your game or your server. It's always like this when new updates are released (latest CS:S update was on 2010-12-18).

I've heard that you can edit steam.inf file and just modify the version number from v56 to v57 to be able to join updated servers with an outdated game.

ok, thanks for the information, can you tell me , where can I find the last update, I ve been llooking for it and nothing :(

Yeah because you didn't say you were looking for DoD:S. Try Piratebay or cs.rin.ru forums.

seems to be down at the moment, maybe cause of update?!
