1. First go and download HLDS Updater here: http://storefront.st...supdatetool.exe

Linux go here http://storefront.st...supdatetool.bin

2. Then Complete instalation up to folder, name folder C:HLServer if (c: is already there don't add it)

3. Finish it up and go to my computer C:HLServer then right click Send To Desktop (shortcut) Right click and type -command update -game garrysmod -dir c:HLServer. leave one space before the folder written C:HLServerHldsUpdateTool.exe if its already there dont re write it.

4. Open it let it run for a while when its finished re run it again then open C:HLServerorangebox then open srcds file. "WTF" it won't work problem fixed all you have to do is add -game garrysmod after C:HLServerorangeboxsrcds.exe remember one space before typing it.

5.Open it up and there you have ityou created your own dedicated server.

Credit Goes Towards CSyoshoro

whats the freaking point of this useless post? 1st, thats a standart install, no special things, 2nd, theres no nix build of Gmod, everyone knows that you have to use wine or a similar win enabled application to run Gmodon nix!

fail, this thread is fail
