Hi guys, recently I tried to install the Setti orange box CS:S in another PC here home, but a crash happens every time I start to play the game.

I read the FAQ on the master topic about this memory error and tried everything listed, even format my windows, but it didn't work.

I noticed that when I don't install any update patch, the game works fine (but I can't enter on the servers).

Also when I go to "rev.ini" and I turn off the Steamclient emulator (SteamClient = False), the game initializes but I can't play on any server (local or online).

Also also the old CS:S works perfectly.

My system:
K8V-X SE motherboard
nVidia GeForce FX5200
1GB PC3200 DDR SDRAM(3.0-3-3-8 @ 200 MHz)(2.5-3-3-8 @ 200 MHz)
512MB PC3200 DDR SDRAM(3.0-4-4-8 @ 200 MHz)
Windows XP Professional SP3 (with all the latest updates)
Hardware drivers also updated

Thanks guys.

This is the same for me. Everytime I get memory-read-error. I did all mentioned in the FAQ. Nothing will work. Since update 37 this error occurs to me.

Start/Settings/Control Panel/System/Advanced/Settings(Performance)/Settings/Advanced/Change(Virtual Memory)/

Custom Size -Initial Size(MB) -xxxxx
- Maximum Size (MB) -xxxxx
where xxxxx is a value ,try increase that value

It didn't work too. I doubled the numbers and the same problem happens.
Thank you by the way. =)
