You probably don't know who I am. My nick is Waats and I am a trusted member on CS.RIN and SETTI. I helped Killer and Ghost several times to keep SETTI updated.

I want to take part in a long term project of a multi-gaming clan.
I have skills in patching and in server administration. I can patch all the Valve games (HL1&HL2) and also Killing Floor and Red Orchestra. I can make Standalone release with RevEmu and make no-steam servers with Esteamation.

I don't have any dedicated server that's why I am seeking a partner who has got one or can have several game servers. If you plan to have one, I can advise you for host
My English skills are not the best but I can easily write or explain my ideas.

Don't add the port when you search it

The servers I tried to patch with RevEmu (windows) didn't work.
They are crashing when someone joins. Furthermore, it updates frequently and his releases are not stable server side.
But he is a developper and we should support him. I only use revemu to make standalone releases of games and for this, it is a wonderful tool.
RevEmu linux works fine.


2. VUP and UGSP are outdated. They are now useless.

3. Esteamation is the best one but is hard to configure. If you wanna patch your server, you have to set the callbackcontrol to ture.
This option is enabled in the pre-configured files of my tutorial. My configured files also accept all kind of clients.
This tool patches all kind of servers (HL1/HL2 source 2007 and also the killing floor and red orchestra.) The release pack contains the linux and windows files and is stable. It isn't updated with each fucking valve update.


bOObs can you make a quick tutorial on how to patch a server with revemu for windows? Maybe I made a mistake. TY

Flashes are useless in DM mode. You'll flash more teamates than ennemies.

Works fine with the latest Winrar version. You can still use it after the trial period time
