ok, i'm getting tired on this. Today ive installed the patch again, then, i donlowaded that link u posted [color="#0f72da"]http://www.megaupload.com/?d=JY4Y7JYT that solve the problem to a lot of people, then i deleted stats from bin and gamestate. Then i runned the game. And guess what... hl2.exe stopped working. So i runned game whit cs source windoned bat file. and the error stills. I dont know what i do more.
If theres another version of css that i can download, because i only wanna play in Lan, using hamachi to play with friends it will be great. So if u see another version of css, safe, i dont care if it only for Lan, but i want it.

And run that thing that says that isn't safe but u say that its safe, run it without without antivirus?

ok, i runned the patch with the antivirus inactive. I pressed a button and the umbrella get closed. That shows it is off.
If u search on google by avira icon appears a umbrella opened, and when its closed it is off (i think).
After patch finished, i runned css whit avira off, and then hl2 stills stop working.
on ur other post u said to browse it in the folder. I didnt did that, because i dont know what i need to browse in css 2010 folder.

When you download this patch: http://www.mediafire...jjo7e2u91q8nsqd Is the same that you have now. Save it in your desktop. After that open in. When you open it you will see a button named: browse. Press it and then find your counter strike source 2010 folder and click ok then press ok again and the patch will start overwrite data.

That's exatly what i've did in the first time, and in the second time, but at 2nd time I did it whit antivirus off. I need to close firewall too?
I only clicked the button to make antivirus off. Do i need to close the process?

i tried what u said and, when i lick submit it starts loading and then appears this errors on console:
Host_Error: Unexepected authentication protocol 303455153!

Update css with the latest patch.

I installed it as you said and now i cant play. It stops working after first loading.
And appeared a message saying that windows make it not work because it can make damage on computer. It's called Dep (Data execution prevention) is this patch really safe?

Be sure that you have css no-steam boobs-version (first page). Then download cumulative patch... Close your antivirous. Run the patch and browse it in your counter strike source 2010 folder.
So that your have to do now is to re-install the game. After that follow my step above

First of all, hello, im new here.
I've downloaded the CS: S orangebox setti and I'm having some issues whit it.

1) In the file that comes whit it (i downloaded it from thepiratebay), the file that is also on FAQ, it says to run as Admin to avoid problems. When i try to run as admin this error message appears:
"O Windows não consegue localizar "hl2.exe". Certifique-se de que escreveu o nome corretamente, e, em seguida, tente de novo" (in Portuguese)
In english: (translated whit google translator)
"Windows can not find 'hl2.exe." Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again ".
This is my first problem.

2)Every servers says "Server not responding". I already browse that error on the forums and i found that i need to make an exception on the firewall. I think i have already an exception.
But the exception is for hl2 and maybe that's the problem . And i can't make exceptions for a Bat file.
Maybe is my antivirus.
I'm using Avira AntiVir Personal- Free Antivirus. Maybe it is blocking cs:s
Any help will be appreciated. If you can take some screenshots to i see better how do i add exceptions using Avira or make exception to the cs:s in the windows firewall
