You have to find an admin online and request an unban while you are playing. I don't think mute can be removed remotely when you are not on the server.

Never heard of ghosting. I thought ghosting was a word for that shotgun spree that Ghost invented. Anyway, there are lots of occasions when people come and play from the same IP. But that doesn't necessarily mean they are cheating (using Skype, etc.). I wouldn't ban anyone for that, unless they openly admitted that they use Skype. If it really bothers me I ususllay move them to opposite teams so they are forced to play against eachother. There are probably more Skype cheaters on different IPs than the ones on the same IPs.

Ah the wallhack. It will always be very hard to spot on a careful cheater. But then again, cheater who is careful with his WH also has less advantage and less fun. He constantly has to be careful how he shoots because he is affraid a dead regular or dead admin is spectating him. And with 50% of his mind being concentrated on being careful, he will play bad and also have less fun. And because of that, chances are that he will sooner or later be discovered or just give up, like that last cheater "snoopl" who complained that it wasn't fun anymore because of the hacks. No shit, idiot, lol.

Even harder to spot than wallhack is radarhack. If you want to cheat, use that.   With that, you don't have to worry you will prefire too perfectly. You can't see through a wall but you can see the approximate position on the radar and that will make you appear like a non-WHer but with the same knowledge of enemy position. I don't think RH can be spotted. Then there's fullbright, healthbars, skins, models. I am pretty sure we are playing with some people / regulars on Setti who are using some of that. Passive cheats like that are just impossible to see.

About the videos ....... considering what I just wrote, I can't say whether he was cheating or not. The possibility for either being true is the same. But, I would like to comment on that "zbang on the right side" encounter. As others already mentioned, you can see him starting to move his crosshair back to the left after he looks to the right. That could be consistent with a quick right glance to check for the enemy around corners. I do that a lot and sometimes I turn back so fast that I even continue turning left and for another 270 degrees to complete a full turn and attack the enemy like that. The other possibility which many people don't consider is the possibility of continuous encounters. You watched only one round of this game on YouTube. In reality, he could have been going on this path for 10 rounds, one after another, and perhaps on 7 rounds the enemy was there. So logically he will automatically look there. From the video we can't see that.

Some other instances do look suspicious but I don't know. Maybe I am suspicious in exactly the same way when I play. I played with some random nicknames for the last few days and there were many people who said I wallhacked. Some admins even went to spectate me but I guess I messed up too many situations so I never got banned.

Anyway, don't ask me for opinions because I don't have any. There's noone for whom I'll say "he doesn't cheat". As far as I'm concerned, you all could be cheating. I just didn't catch you yet. I will not set the ban just yet. But then again I will not remove any bans other admins set either. That is my policy. I guess you can try and escalate this to an admin vote where the majority would decide but we never actually had that before  so I don't know if it would work at all.

If I see the word string "no reason" in the title or description of the thread, I intentionally ignore it and move on.

I understand German and they are both banned now. I admit I haven't visited the "Ban requests" topic for a while now so many reported cheaters aren't banned yet (I guess not many other admins read that topic). Sorry about that. I'll try to go through it soon.

Tell us something we don't know. WH spotting is hard as we've been saying for years. But as that's a passive cheat, it doesn't give you as much advantage, especially when you have to hide it and get killed. Once you do that, you might as well stop using it, cause I can kill 5 players and get killed by the 6th myself, without cheats. But the point has always been, you will be caught, sooner or later. I don't know, 100 hours of cheating just isn't worth getting permbanned on all Setti servers. And you probably wouldn't last 100 hours on the main server and pub #3 where regulars and admins play. We've caught people WHing with less that 1 hours of gametime.

First of all you didn't write the server name, time, map, demo, nothing. Secondly, I already told you what to do if idiots like these join and cause problems. Do NOT talk to them and do not let them talk. Use your ban option to remove them from the server. First use STEAM ban and if they come back with a different STEAM ID, then use the IP ban option until they stop connecting, which they will sooner than you think. Do NOT ban by name, NEVER!

Now, I already told you how you should handle these situations and you obviously don't fucking listen. You allowed this idiot to re-connect and talk crap on the server, instead of banning him immediately. You also didn't post the required info here. You instead flooded this topic with useless game log.

If you can't do what you're told then we can find someone else who can.

This guy is totally fucked up. I told him in game why he will get banned and obviously he didn't pay attention. And now he's here, again not giving a shit about how to request an unban. He ignores everything that is said or written. He's obviously too dumb to comprehend. Look at the name of the server he posted. He didn't even THINK about the fact we need the NAME, not an IP. And look at the IP he posted under 5). Of course he didn't even bother with his tiny brain to get the STEAM ID. This guy must the the STUPIDEST resource consumer on this Earth. I wonder if he's got a brain at all or is he a zombie. You could probably assrape him on the street and he wouldn't even realize it or bother to turn around.
