OK now Setti doesn't see me. It's because of PeerBlock!!!

so I've disabled blocking for that IP in PeerBlock.

You can use domains (hostnames) too if you want. In this case the problem is that your server doesn't respond to the basic information query to the server. Verify that your servers can join the server.

do I have to open other ports for setti?
also I've tried with an old CSS v34 server, the same error...

The thing is my Ship server worked just fine 7-8 months ago. It was on Setti's list. I haven't changed any files in it, so the Masterserver must have changed. Can it detect The Ship servers?

EDIT2:
now that's strange. Setti just connected successfully to my server...
also, i see there's a different IP for c360qtool : 174.129..
any idea why?

I've found the problem!!! :D It was obviously a RevEmu related problem. Because of lacking documentation you didn't include

Server rev.ini :

SteamClient = True
SteamDll=E:\Steam\Steam.dll
ClientDLL=E:\Steam\steamclient.dll

You can have achievements if you play with cracked steam, and your data is saved on your empty steam account.
Get SteamUp 2010 for example.

It happens to me too. Made the mistake to update the server, and now Setti doesn't detect my server. Try my IP: 92.114.85.23:27016

Can you even successfully submit the server on the main page? The main page's server submission form uses the most basic information query mechanism to verify that the server is there. If you don't see green light there, then it won't work. Even if you see green light when submitting it doesn't mean everything would work out good in the later tests.

Cannot submit the .40 one(it's closed now because i've got a virus problem). The .34 is detected immeditely. And there's no question, people have joined my server.

Offtopic: What's with the tags in the internet server list? Also, isn't there a way to filter the list by server version?

Tried Steam3Client, I can connect but Setti don't detect.
Now I'm running version .40 on port 27015 and .34 on port 27017.

So the 1.0.0.34 version is detected properly. Just tried to add it a minute ago. I'm starting to think it's an emulator 'issue'. I'll try to change the emu and get back on this.

People confirmed they were able to connect to my server!

Some of the new update CS:S servers weren't detected correctly until now. Some server admins were lucky or updated from the beta in which case the detection worked. Anyways, everything should be coming up OK soon. Let's hope everybody updates. The new CS:S deserves serious play time :razz:

:unsure: I updated the server to version 40 but it still isn't detected. So I fired up the DM server on port 27015, Setti detected it, and then started the 40 version :rolleyes: hope it works.

Actually you can use WideCap instead of SocksCap (same author, easier to use).

I was trying to spend less $$$ and NOT buy a router!
Well, the proxy/firewall with NAT didn't work so well so I got a router, after all.
The problem is I can't get the server list to work properly through the router. Servers near me appear with 1000+ latency instead of 15 http://css.setti.inf...tyle_emoticons/default/mad.gif
And my local LAN server doesn't appear at all...

[SOLVED]

CS:S uses UDP.

- You can use Sockscap or simiar program to make CS:S connect through a proxy with SOCKS5.

or

- use a program with NAT technology (I'm using Kerio Winroute)
