Ask your friends to play on the server and whether they hear the sound. It can be your game client version that has the sound error.

The error is probably nothing. It can be caused by players who have slightly different version than the game version. If it doesn't cause you problems then it isn't something that you need to fix.

Remember: This is v34 of CS:S which is outdated - do not use it if you don't know what you are doing!

Hey, i have a v34 srcds that i downloaded from this website and need to crack it to enable nonsteam users to connect.

I am a legit owner of CSS on steam and i have my reasons for wanting a v34 srcds.

I have successfully cracked srcds v34 under windows but im having trouble doing it in linux, if someone could point me in the right direction (files needed + instructions) i would very greatful.

I have done an insane amount of googling but everything i've tried has not worked.

I need to get this server up and running ASAP so if someone has a solution then please let me know. THANKS!

well i have the game v34,installed the links provided in previous threads(Linux and windows addons),and run the server
but when i try to connect from the game,every time it says:the connection failed after 4 tries!
what to do??

Try to setup working Orangebox server first. Most likely you'll have the same problem with it. When you've solved problems with fully updated Orangebox you can try hosting a v34 server.

Remember that v34 is outdated and is not supported. If you don't know how to get it working then you shouldn't do it at all.

seems like our community isnt the only one sticking with v34 cs:s builds

after reading this whole thread . i noticed people are having trouble cracking linux srcds ... its easy to crack it with revemu,
but for those having trouble i am sharing my bin folder and some other required files to crack a server, in a 12mb zip file...

just replace the files and all should be fine

Hi guys, i've some problems to donwload the linux version... Everytime i try to download the file the server stop the connection... Sometime the server stop the connection after 40 mb, sometime after 1 mb, sometime after 100mb... Anyone have the same issue???
There's some way to download this file on other way (torrent, ecc)???

Because I tried to install SourceMod, metamod in various ways and could not, and when I install the SourceMod folders and metamod and will install a new plugin css does not recognize addons, and even the plugin!

 

And when I type in the console: sm_admin not appear the Administrator menu.
